Every price shows its work

Every record here links to its exact Discogs pressing — not "an edition of this album," the pressing on the turntable, matrix and all. The "How we priced this" panel on each listing shows what we saw when we priced it: what copies have actually sold for (low / median / high), the cheapest one on Discogs right now, what Discogs suggests for our copy's grade, and where our price lands in that range. If our price is above market, the panel says so in red. Check our math — the Source link goes straight to the pressing's Discogs page.

Grading, without the shrug

Every record gets two grades — media and sleeve, separately — on a 1–10 scale that maps to the standard Goldmine ladder (M, NM, VG+, VG, G+…). We grade what's actually there: a NM disc in a beat-up jacket says so. Condition notes call out anything the grade doesn't capture. The price is anchored to the media grade, because that's the part you listen to.

The box

A shipping box holds 12 records. Fill it and it ships free anywhere in Canada — or hit $250, whichever comes first. Anything short of a full box ships at cost, calculated at checkout — or rides free with local pickup in Vancouver. And you don't have to fill it in one go: check out a record or two at a time, pick “Add to my box”, and we hold them at the shop while you keep digging. The $100 minimum only applies when an order ships on its own — box holds and pickup go at any size, so a $20 record can start a box. The meter in your bag tracks it all, so you always know how far the box is from riding free.

Vancouver first

This shop is built from Vancouver, for Vancouver. Local pickup once your order qualifies, and fresh arrivals surface here before they go anywhere else. If you're in town and want to see a record before pulling the trigger, write us.

The photos

Listing photos come from the Discogs community's entry for each release — the same pressing you'd be checking our math against. If a photo is yours and you'd like credit or removal, say the word and it's done.
